Parent Center

Welcome Main Street Elementary School Parents! Thank you for making it onto our webpage and for taking the time to explore what is going on at Main Street Elementary School.  During the 2022-2023 School Year we will continue to have our monthly Coffee with the Principal Meetings, School Site Council Meetings, and ELAC Meetings.

Additionally, we will host other special events throughout the year such as Back to School Night, Parent Read-A-Longs, Open House, and several others.  Furthermore, Ms. Torres, Psychiatric Social Worker, will continue her Parents In Control Classes.  These classes  focus on behavior management strategies and strategies for supporting student success at home.

Parents In Control Classes

These classes focus on ways to provide structure for your children so that they can be successful in school and in their every day lives now and in the future.  Learn different ways to help your child manage his/her behavior.

If your child needs to improve in any of the following areas, Parent In Control Classes might be very beneficial:

• Following directions and rules
• Forming good study habits
• Controlling his/her temper

All classes are held in the parent center and are open to all parents.  Please feel free to join Ms. Torres, Psychiatric Social Woker!
